Re: Random BSODs, freezes, restarts and booting problems... 64-bit
Hi. . .
Since I asked you about those 2 "unknown files" - I have seen other "unknown files" show up in other Vista x64 systems. I don't believe in coincidences like this - they had similar names, but incredibly were dated 20 July 2008 - just like yours. I have looked into the commonalities between all of the systems and there are too many to pinpoint the source. The users of two of them told me that they had just re-installed Vista. I am not a security expert, so I cannot say with certainty that they are not viral in nature, but I find it hard to believe that different users, different manufacturers even different versions of Vista could have exactly 2 modules dated 20 July in their system. Why not more or less? What is so special about July 20 and why is there no trace of them in the system except in memory dumps. They can't even be found on the Internet. So wither everyone has the same virus or ??? - that's what I have yet to figure out. How does your system run in SAFEMODE w/Networking? Is it as unstable? I still advise that you return it and go elsewhere if at all possible. To me its like buying a new car that ends up in the dealership more than you have it - and after warranty have to pay 10,000 NOK for repairs. Regards. . . jcgriff2 . |
