PLEASE HELP! Got a really annoying problem... I've got an ASUS F3Sv with Intel - Network - Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN.

Started a few weeks ago, my wireless modem all of a sudden would not turn on. I'll manually turn it on with the function + key and after a split second it would turn off on its own again, the internet would never connect... The wireless light just turns off. I've tried to reinstall the driver and it didn't work. Sometimes when I roll back the system with system restore it would work but after a few days it would start again. I thought it was because of an update by microsoft because it happened before with my old XP. I used the recovery disk and formatted the entire system and turned off the systems update, that worked for a long time but now it's starting again. I have no clue what's going on... I still think maybe it's an update from microsoft though.. Can someone please help me out? any ideas??? THANKS!

Intel had a driver update for the 4965AGN as well as many others, updated in August 2008 then again last week on October8, 2008.

It is the 2nd item down in the following link -

I downloaded the new driver and replaced my old driver.. updated windows to sp1. Everything seems to be fixed and working! Thank you so much for your help!
