Missing operating system On Acer 9410
This is what happened, I put my vista upgrade cd in my Acer and reinstalled the OS, What I did'nt know is that my cd key was on the back of my laptop. So now its unregeristered. Now I wanted to downgrade to My legal Copy of xp. So I used killdisk and wipe everything. Now its says MISSING OPERATING SYSTEM. And it will not read my xp cd. Or the vista upgrade cd. I disabled the recovery in bios, and still nothing. I have no recovery disk, All I want is xp on it........Any thoughts????
