Halo 1 pc it does work with vista right?

ok i am sorry if i am putting this in the wrong place I'm new. ok have halo one PC i have installed it already and when it installed i clicked play after that a small box appeared and said something like existense or something and then i kept getting a message saying halo has stopped working so i un-instilled it and try ed to reinstall it and now it won't go past 77% i have windows vista basic and don't think that would be the prob help please if you can

Hi. . .

I suggest that you check Problem Reports and Solutions -
START | type wercon.exe into the Start Search box and hit enter - view "See Problems to Check" first, then the other selections on the top left of the screen.

Also look at the Reliability Monitor - (& Performance Monitor)
START | type perfmon.msc into the Start Search box and hit enter. View the Reliability Monitor looking at the red X's and the information below.

cheers for that however it said nothing and now i cant install the game anymore when the install is at 77% the disk just stops spinning
