Windows Vista - No Disk Error Pop Up
Hi there,
After logging onto Windows Vista on my PC, an error message pops up every time stating: Title: Windows - No Disk Exception Processing Message 0xC0000013 Parameters 0x761a023c 0x83A3cBC 0x761A023c 0x761A023c | Cancel | Try Again | Continue | After clicking any of the bottom buttons aroun 5 times, the message goes away. How can i stop this popping up in the first place? Thanks. |

Re: Windows Vista - No Disk Error Pop Up
Hello jonnydudz
![]() You will get that error when the drive letter of a removable disk or other media drive connected to your PC clashes with an existing disk drive letter. 1.Click Start and type "Computer Management" in the search box. 2.Click on Computer Management 3.An Intermediate dialog box may appear stating "Windows needs your permission to continue". Click Continue to proceed. 4.In the Computer Management window, click Disk Management under Storage option. 5.You will find all the storage devices connected to your PC here. 6.To change the drive letter, right-click on the connected removable media and click the option Change Drive Letter and Paths... 7 Click on Change. 8.Select the drive letter you want to assign from the drop down. 9.To confirm, click OK. 10.Click Yes .

Re: Windows Vista - No Disk Error Pop Up
Hey,
I seem to be having the same problem same code and everything but it dose not go away when I exit it 5 times, well it dose but only temporarily then comes back up moments later. also the Icon above the start menu (your profile thing) it's behind the actual menu and so are the drop down menus. I was wondering if it's the same problem, and if so how do I solve it because I do not remember which port I used when this first started. Thank you , ~Narutofreak1012 |

Re: Windows Vista - No Disk Error Pop Up
Hello narutofreak1012
![]() If you follow the instructions I posted above, Step#4 will show you all the devices and which letter has been assigned to each of them. You need to make sure that nothing has taken over the letter for your hard disk. Also try booting with no external devices connected and check in Disk Management then. .
