Hello guys, Please help me, I have a similar problem with my desktop PC which is running Vista and we have bought a Epson DX 8400 (all-in-one) Vista compliant printer which will not fully install the whole suite from the software disk supplied with the printer. The error i'm getting is Access Is Denied (0x5).

Re: Access Denied Error - 0xc0000005 - Epson printer install
Hi Franco. . .
Welcome to the Tech Support Forum - Vista Support. I moved your post to your own thread so that all found here will pertain to you and your system only. Please try this - Insert the CD, when autoplay kicks in - stop it. If necessary, turn auto play off - START | type autoplay into the start search box - un-click the top-left box. Now go into Computer and into the DVD drive. There s/b a file named setup.exe - Right-click on it and select Run as Administrator. Please let me know of your results. Regards. . . jcgriff2 . |
