I have XPS 410 with Windows Vista 32 bit. My PC was working fine earlier but yesterday i tried to start it and ended up the message of 'Missing Operating System'. I am unable to login to windows.

As soon as my system boots up, it halts on the screen. This is how that screen looks:

Missing Operating System

This is where the system stops and doesn't move any further.

Could anyone please help me that why i am getting this "Missing Operating System" message? How can i log back into my machine without reformatting the HDDs bcz i have very valuable data in it. I dont mind to restore the system provided I can pull the data out of it.

Please help. Thank You.
