OS: windows vista ultimate

Advent 7113 problems.
Hi all. I have an Advent 7113 that came with Windows Vista. However, it seems to drop net connection frequently. I have tried another laptop on the same network, updated the drivers on the Advent, even tried a wireless adapter but still, it drops the connection. I am wondering whether this could be because of Vista? I have dropped the settings down on Vista so that it uses as little CPU as poss.
Basically, I am wondering if there is any sort of fix for this or should I go to XP and if that would be possible or has my laptop been designed for Vista only. Many thanks in advance. Chris. |
