aim (and other programs) will not install
my sister just got a new laptop:
Dell Inspiron-1525 Core 2 Duo SP 2 i'm pretty sure anyways, i've been trying to get her started, installing aim, limewire, and stuff like that from the internet. a couple of days ago, while on vacation, her aim started not to work. she uninstalled it and tried reinstalling it. it didn't work. she gave it to me to fix and when i download it from firefox or iexplorer, whenever i start to run the "install aim app" it just starts loading without even being able to exit out the download box, a neverending load. how do i fix this problem? |

Re: aim (and other programs) will not install
Hi. . .
I would suggest the first thing that you do is to perform a System Restore choosing a restore point prior to the beginning of the trouble. START | type rstrui.exe into the start search box | right-click on rstrui.exe up top under Programs | advance through the screens | check the box on the bottom-left to show you restore points older than 5 days and choose a restore point. This will return the system back to the selected day - but will not affect your personal profile folders or files. Good Luck to you. Regards. . . jcgriff2 . |
