Wireless internet not connecting bummer!!
hay again my wireless internet is not connecting arrrrr!! i think it's something to do with my windows firewall but i dont know how to enable the non-secure network can somebody tell me how to unblock my internet firewall in basic understandable terms!!! or a good free anti-virus (my anti-virus has expired) thanks.

Hi. . .
To reset the Windows Firewall to its default settings: Un-install any 3rd party Firewall the re-boot. the do the following and re-boot again: START | type FirewallSettings.exe into the start search box | click on FirewallSettings.exe above | answer UAC prompt - Continue/enter password | select the Advanced Tab | click on "Restore Defaults" | Click Apply (if highlighted) | Click OK Regards. . . jcgriff2 . |

If you want to turn off your Windows Firewall, go to the Control Panel. If you're in the default view (NOT classic), under the "Security" section (the 2nd on the left) there will be a link that says "Allow a program through Windows Firewall". Open that, and then you can turn the Windows Firewall off.
It may not be a Vista issue, though. If you just got a new computer or a new wireless router, it could be an issue with your wireless network card not being compatible with the router. |
