Computer Not Working
Alright, my computer froze up on me while i was on it, so i shut it down via the power button. I went to turn it back on and it went through the first 2 screens fine, then it got to the screen where the vista logo usually is with the loading bar underneath. The logo didn't appear, but the bar did, after a few seconds it changed screens and just went to an all black screen and stuck there. Everytime i try restarting it, i don't get past that screen and i can't do anything on my computer either.
I tried booting up in safe mode, but it just had "Safe Mode" appear in all four corners of a blank screen. I ran several tests on the computer, and they all checked out fine. (audio, video, hard drive) The problem is not in my monitor either, i hooked another 1 up and the problem remained. Now, im not as knowledgeable wit hcomputers as i wish i was, and i really need help with my problem. If anyone has an answer to this problem, please post a reply in the most basic way possible. Feel free to ask questions, i will surely be checking back every 5 minutes to see if anyone came up with a solution. Thanks. |

Re: Computer Not Working
Hi. . .
Try booting up using your Vista DVD or by pressing the appropriate F key to invoke system recovery and perform a system repair. Try the F10 key first - tapping it during boot-up like F8 for SAFEMODE. If not try F11. Regards. . . jcgriff2 |
