Vista Clean build
Hi
I am trying todo a clean build of Vista. After I enter my product key, I come to the select drive for installation screen. I have an asus a8nsli se mobo. a seagate baracuda SATA II 250gb 16mb cache Hard drive, but this isn't there for selection, and i don't seem to be able to find a drive which vista will accept. any help please. |

and welcome to the ForumHas this PC had vista loaded before? . . Look in BIOS to check that the drive is recognized there

Windows is unable to find a system volume that meets its criteria for installation
I also get this message in the middle of vista installation when trying to select the drive i want to install vista on |

i managed to figure it out, but not sure how it worked. i managed to lad the drives even though vista said they weren't compatible with the hardware, i then removed my pen drive after the drives were install an, hey presto it worked. |
