Freezing of OS, is it psu??? HELP!!!!!!
Hey
a few months ago i fitted a new motherboard the NF650iSLIT-A (ecs) and before that a 700w psu. now im on it and all of a sudden this annoying thing starts happening, well many things. when playing itunes the music cuts out for a 1/4 of a second and its in the performance of the computer, some windows start to stop responding then windows explorer decides to give up. things are slower and etc. this is wot ive tried to fix the problem: clean the computer out completly removing any dust that could be a problem made sure everything is fitted in correctly done many virus scans on Avast 4.8 professional done registry cleaners done a clean up of the computer removing any unnecessary crap through C Cleaner. update itunes and windows vista tried to update the bios but cant seem to find an update. this is my computers spec's: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.9 Ghz ECS NF650iSLIT-A 700w PSU 2 GB RAM Nvidia GeForce 8600GTS 320GB HDD |

Re: Freezing of OS, is it psu??? HELP!!!!!!
well tbh its hard to tell if it freezes in the bios as its more of a quick thing. but if i have to say anyhting it doesnt freeze in the bios. i think i may need to format the computer, vista wont even disk defag the volume. and most programs take forever to start responding once they stop responding.
ive took the computer apart checked the heat sink for the cpu, checked the cpu. ive took the graphics card out n checked that, i changed the sata lead for my hdd, ive made sure my ddr 2 ram is compatible with my motherboard. ive done near enouhg everything i could of i think...... anymore suggestions? |
