Fan speed control?
This is an area where HP kinda pisses me off
 they hide/disable a bunch of settngs in the BIOS settings, such as fan speed and WoL. Does anyone know how i can monitor/control fan speeds? i have tried sppedfan, but it doesn't seem to do anything but monitor my CPU temp. I can set a desired temp for my CPU, but that doesn't the actual temp or the fan speed. When i look into the tab that has fans in it, theres nothing there. I have also tried nTune, as i have an Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS video adapter. Is there a program other than the two i tried to control fan speed? or a way to manually do it? |
