Unable to delete folder

I had to do a restore on my laptop and after I did it created a 'Backup' directory on my hard drive with the date of the restore. I don't need this folder but the system won't let me delete it. I do have Admin rights but not signed on as the Admin, I've never had the password for the Admin and Best Buy want's $25 to get it for me. I've tried changing the properities with the directory and also trying to do it in safe mode. Any suggestions because I could really use the room this directory is taking up. There are actually 3 different folders, under the main backup one, for 3 different dates (long story).

You have 2 options.

1. Grab Ubuntu LiveCD and boot Ubuntu and then click on your HDD and scroll to the folder and delete it.

2. http://www.malwarebytes.org/fileassassin.php
