Help with Laptop
I have a Toshiba Satellite P35-609 and I had to replace the HD. Went from an 80Gig to a 250Gig. After replacing I installed Vista Ultimate. Everything installed fine but when I had XP, it had ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP. After installing Vista, I no longer see any ATI adapers anywhere, instead I see Standard VGA Graphics Adapter which makes everything really big. I only have two resolution settings under Standard VGA Graphics Adajpter:
1024 x 768 and 800 x 600. If I go to Advance Settings, under Adapter, It says Adapter Type: Standard VGA Graphics Adapter then under Adapter information it says: Chip Type: ATI Mobility Radeon 9100 IGP DAC Type: 8 bit Adapter String: VGA Bios information: 01.00 Total Available Graphics Memory: 128MB Dedicated Video Memory: n/a System Video Memory: n/a Shared System Memory: n/a How can I get my screen to look small and normal again and not big. If I go to device manager, under Display Adapters is only Standard VGA Graphics Adapter and it says the driver is provided by microsoft. Any input is greatly appreciated. alkatrazz2 |

It doesn't look like your ATI Mobility Radeon 9100 IGP supported for Vista. |
