A Vista SP1 problem ? help please
Hi,
A couple years back I had a problem where video's in PowerPoint 2003 SP 3 on a XP didn't always play, but I found the solution here : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/8182...id=2522&sid=49 The video acceleration in Media Player 9 had to be turned off, which is what I did. Now I have a brand new computer with Vista Enterprise SP1, PowerPoint 2003 SP3, Windows Media Player 11, and the same problem of videos not playing in PowerPoint 2003. I checked this related link : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/905167 But the problem is, when I go into Media Player 11, I don't have the acceleration bar that I can turn down like I could before ! I'm 99% sure it's the same problem as I had with XP. But now I have Vista SP1, and Media Player 11. I'm not sure how I can turn the video acceleration off. I also have latest ATI Radeon video driver installed for Vista 32 bit, and it also doesn't have an option for turning off video acceleration :( I put this same question in the Video Help forum, because it's probably more related to that. But if anyone know's of a Vista and/or Media Player 11 problem that's causing this, maybe you know of a solution with regards to that ?
