Have to manually connect to network all the time
OK, have vista Home Premium, HP, new pc, did not come with network adapter, bought a Level One wnc-0600usb wireless adapter. installed software everything is great, but will not let me connect to network I setup.
I called at&t (my isp provider), I was on thephone for 2 hoursm doing all kinds of stuff. I got on to the internet, but after I hung up the connection went away after a few minutes, now the only way I can connect is to "go to networks available, then manuall enter all account info then it will let me on, but it does not stay on for long. The modem is in the basement and it is connected to my sons desktop with a j6 cable(XP), no problems, my 2 daughters have dell laptops one Vista, one XP, they connect wirelessly no problems....anybody have any ideas? I am going to call at&t back and try with them again, but I have founf that they are not the sharpest tools in the shed. |
