Re: how do i remove these folders?
These are Vista system folders and I don't believe they can be removed.

Re: how do i remove these folders?
Hi - As Lead3 correctly pointed out, these folders cannot be delted. They are part of your user profile shell folders c:\users\YOUR USERNAME\*.* and are vital to your Vista Operating system. If deleted, the Vista NT Registry will replace them assuming that they were some how corrupted/missing. To see the user shell folders contained in the NT Registry, do the following: Bring up an ELEVATED command prompt START | type cmd.exe | right-click on cmd.exe up top | select Run as Administrator | answer the UAC prompt - Continue/enter Admin password Now... copy and paste the following into the "DOS" command prompt box - EXACTLY as it appears - Code:
reg query "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders" > C:\$shell1.txt & start notepad c:\$shell1.txt Good Luck to you. Regards. . . jcgriff2
