Check Disk Errors
Greetings,
I am running a pre-installed version of Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit system on my HP laptop. As of the last month and a half, every time i power up my system, it tells me that i need to run a disk check on my C drive. I allow it, but unfortunately, it only gets to 21% of stage two every time before it locks up. The only solution is to power down and then skip the check next time it loads. I want to back up my hard drive to my external, but my computer won't allow it as it says one or more files are corrupted. A system restore is out of the question as i'm not exactly sure when the problem began. My virus scan and spyware detector have found nothing harmful on my computer. Please help. Thanks, Mat Stokes |
