Vista - no internet connection
I have a new home built gaming computer:
p5n-e sli mobo - i have older computer with XP working fine with Verizon DSL. In order to connect both computer to the web i am using a netgear router... but if i just connect it directly to the modem it still doesn't work. 1. i have reset winsock and ip reset. 2. I can ping localhost and 127.0.0.1 but can't get it to find a website. 3. in cmd i have found error code 1231 -' ud ud32 ran out of space' 4. windows is giving me 'cannot communicate with primary DNS server 192.168.1.1 led at the ethernet connection yellow for ACT/LINK orange for speed led. any suggestions? |
