Losing Disk space by the second
Hi all,
I've got a bit of a problem here :(. My C-disk is losing space litterly by the second. In 5 hours I've lost something like 15gigs :S. I've been spending the last few hours looking for a cause...and I founf out that more people have had the same problem...but none could help fix mine. I have looked in my c-disk and tried to find out where the space was going... first I noticed that my Windows folder was 35 gigs.. wich was normally around 11 I think. Then I digged deeper and I can now say it is is most likely the "sysWOW64" folder dat sucks up all the space...sice that folder had been increasing a lot these last hours. Now have I been trying to dig deeper and see what file or subfolder is the cause...but strangely... When I select all files and folders in the folder...it says it is only 932Mb:S The option 'view hidden folders' is on I hope I have given enough information for someone to help me..

Re: Losing Disk space by the second
I think I might have fixed it myself... I just took the risk of deleting the whole folder...hoping it was not a critical one.. just backupping the 932Mb of files.. Now it is back to normal... Also I am now able to install Symantec antivirus (couldnt before because I needed space on C)... I'll report back here to inform whether or not it was a virus.... just for the curious ones ;)
