Vista 64-Bit advice...

I have installed 64-Bit Vista Ultimate and have got most 64-bit drivers and software..

the only one i cant get is 64-Bit ENE Card Reader for ACER ASPIRE 5051 laptop...

Also - I downloaded and installed 64-Bit ESET Smart Security but under Task Manager the ekrn.exe runs as 32-bit? (ekrn.exe 32*) and the egui.exe doesnt.. this doesnt sound right...

any advice GREATLY APPRECIATED

thanks

The driver file warlordfmike posted should work. I had to do the same when I installed my 64bit Ultimate for my Acer 5100.

Re: Vista 64-Bit advice...

Get the latest drivers (v3.0.0.7) here sorry it is a Megaupload download but I can't remember the site I downloaded it from.

Hope this fixes the problem... it did for me. I am running an Acer Aspire 5100 Turion X2 with 4 Gigs of Ram on Vista Ultimate 64-Bit.

Regards,
