Corrupt Master File Table
HI
I need some assistance. I have an Acer computer running Windows VISTA. /when I first boot it up, I get a message saying that D : there is a Corrupt Master File Table. It takes a few minutes, but then it finishes booting into Windows. What is the cause, and how do I fix it? |

Some information about Master File Table:
http://www.ntfs.com/ntfs-mft.htm Try running CHKDSK /F /R from an elevated command prompt. |
