Re: vista SP1 Final but no directx 10.1
Looks like they havent supported the download for Direct X 10.1 in SP1 as of yet, they have how ever released a bumper download to enhance gaming in the mean time.

Re: vista SP1 Final but no directx 10.1
i don't think its important
cause even if graphic card doesn't support DX10.1 it must be installed if not why DX10 installed with windows? I'm using ATI HD 3850(Catalyst 8.3) and it DX10.1 supported one!! |

Re: vista SP1 Final but no directx 10.1
Unfortunatley that was the last update they released on the 13th March and havent given any indication as to when they will release 10.1
Find more information on the Direct X website Regards Craig

Re: vista SP1 Final but no directx 10.1
It was expected to be included in SP1 and there are forums who offer a fix to download DirectX 10.1 But as of yet there has been no confirmation by Microsoft that its definatley downloadable and there is no stand alone product available from DirectX. I have personally tried a couple of these fixs and the best i managed to get was DirectX10 with the DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer, which i have to say seems to improve rolling graphics on the games i've played so far.
Seems that everyone is unclear about the release date for DX10.1 craig
