Flash drives no longer working?!
I recently bought a new Canon printer, and since then my computer will not read flash drives. My computer sees a drive "E" that is my printer, it's for the usb/other drives built into my printer. I unplugged my printer, drive E went away, and it still will not read my flash drivers. At first, it'll ask me if I want to install drivers for the specific flash drive, I clicked no and the drive doesn't show up still, even though "E" is gone. I plugged my flash drive into the usb slot on my printer, and it displays on the little LCD screen, "inappropriate drive, please remove". So now I'm just assuming that it's the printer software interfering with reading the flash drive. I shut down all of my printer software, even the background stuff in my task manager and no go. So if anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate any help at all, or suggestions, thanks!
