would like help asap (media center extender)
I finally got around to hooking up my Xbox 360 yesterday and I noticed that my new Sony Vaio laptop was seeing a Network Extender for the vista media center. Well, I ran the setup thing and it all completed except the last check box. Its all setup but it will not connect to the media center. I get the error saying "The Xbox 360 has been terminated because a program has launched an UI application unexpectedly". I get this over and over and when I looked in the event log it is saying that my router is causing this problem. I have a D-Link DI-524 router which says is xbox live compatible. So, why is it not working? I can connect to xbox live just fine, and play all the online games and everything with no problems. But it will not connect to media center. Do I need a newer router or something?
EDIT: I can see the xbox 360 on the network BTW Last edited by nikeman; 03-08-2008 at 03:21 PM. |
