wordpad for vista?

I keep getting the microsoft office word instead of the actual wordpad I had with XP. Is there a download I can do to get the normal wordpad that I used to have so I dont have to deal with the office version of this? If so, where do I go to get it and do I just put it into the programs and install so that it will work with my emails etc.???? Please help if you can. Thanks.

Re: wordpad for vista?

And also try to right click on the wordpad file you have, and choose the wordpad from the Open with list

Re: wordpad for vista?

Try to save the file first, and then open it with wordpad. Try not to open directly from the email
