does anyone have any suggestions on hyper terminal applications? i need to find one for windows vista 32bit edition, for a dial up connection.

If you set up a dial-up connection in Vista and connect, it will bring up a terminal.
I have also used this: HyperTerminal Private Edition http://www.hilgraeve.com/htpe/index.html Edit: Didn't realize that the new version is no longer free for personal use. I used 6.3, you can get it here. http://www.sofotex.com/HyperTerminal...load_L412.html

If you are running .Net and just need COM port access, you can try FoxTerm at http://www.foxterm.net/ - it's a multi-session tool like Poderosa.
