Re: help spelling check and grammar error

The same exact thing happened to me. Today I bought and installed Microsoft Works 9. When the message came up I reinstalled it and the message still comes up.

What to do?

Opps! Submitted the P. S. comment twice. Only once is enough. I deleted one of them.

Re: help spelling check and grammar error

P.S. - - - - I am installing Microsoft Works 9 on a new Lenoso Ideapad - Y510 using a disc bought at Office Depot (since the Lenoso came without Works). It seems to work okay except it won't spellcheck. It does recognize spelling errors with the wavy line under the error. ............. When this "error" happened and reinstalling the new disc didn't work , I took the same disc and installed it on my HP a6110n desktop, overwriting and older version of Works. Works 9 installed correctly and the spellcheck feature does work on it. I guess that's a clue that somethings amiss on this brand new Lenovo laptop. However......

The Lenoso came with a trial version of Microsoft Office (Word). It spellchecks fine when using that program.

Any ideas what I can try, to get Works 9 spellchecking work on the Lenovo (other than giving up making spelling errors)? I like Works and do not intend to you Office/Word.
