Slow, Slow Slow burning and unzipping
Lets say I have 30 files and each on is in a rar format and all together is just over 4gb(the size of a dvd). It takes almost an hour to unrar them? The end result is a 4gb .img file. Once that is uncompressed and I go to burn it to a DVD it also takes close to an hour.(My burner is only 2.5 but it should'nt take that long)
Does anyone know why these precesses take so dam long? Thank you! -Jay Windows Vista Ultimate(32bit) 2 gb pc4200 1.8ghz cpu |

Re: Slow, Slow Slow burning and unzipping
Any change with anti-virus scanners disabled?
Also, is this a newly formatted and installed version of Vista? As for your DVD drive..have you tried cleaning the lens? What type of discs are you using to burn with?
