what are some must have downloads or programs for a vista 64 user

hi i'm a new vista 64 user i'm wondering if theres any good programs you know of. that could ease the normal vista pains... thanks

If this is an OEM preinstalled system start by uninstalling all the bloatware that came with it before installing more programs. You won't solve sluggishness by adding more programs

What's the brand and model of the computer ? How many processes are running when you start the computer ? Press ctrl+alt+del => start task manager => processes. More than 50 processes probably means there are unneeded programs running in the background.

Download and run the PC decrapifier. It's a simple .exe file that won't install anything. Follow the instructions and make sure you select each item it finds and click on more info before you tick and remove it.
