Need Help With Sound Drivers
Ok so my friend has some major problems with XP on his computer so I installed a fresh copy of Vista on his computer, however no sound drivers that I have tried have worked. Can someone help by getting me the correct drivers, or by telling me what I am doing wrong.
Extra Notes: -He is using a Dell Dimension 3000 -We have tried the Realtek Sound Drivers & They have not worked -I am fully aware that there might not be drivers for this computer so please don't flame about that. Thanks in advance. |

The audio driver for that system is ADI 198x Integrated audio chip/ SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio. You can try the manufacturers website or look at the following site has a driver for Vista. It does require you to create a free login.
