The Keyboard and mouse will not work on the computer, it will work just before the O/S Loads and will work on other computers (including another vista machine). What i have tried: Tested on 3 other PCs (1 Vista, 2 XP) - Working Fine Tested with a Live Boot from a Ubuntu CD - Working Fine Can use keyboard in BIOS - Working Fine Updated BIOS to latest version - Will not work in and O/S Updated ALL drivers to latest version - Will not work in O/S The keyboard and mouse work on my PC when it is not booted into an operating system, but when my PC has loaded an operating system, it will not work, the lights all go out on the reciever. Also have phoned Labtec (who use logitechs support line) and they were useless (was on the phone to them for about 1 hour). Thanks Chief17 |

Re: Keyboard and Mouse Problems
The PSU is a Win Power ATX-450
Im just about to try the other suggestions, alough i do not think it will make a difference as i have Flashed the BIOS which effectivley resets it anyway, but there is no harm in trying again. Thanks for the reply Chief17 EDIT: (the edit button was there this time) No, still will not work, any more ideas? Last edited by Chief17 : 07-22-2008 at 10:51 AM. |

Re: Keyboard and Mouse Problems
could you tell me the exact model of the keyboard and mouse. I wouldn't mind doing my own style of searching.
is it a logitech keyboard or another company that logitech owns or a seperate company altogether??? maybe logitech setpoint driver 4.40 will work or whatever setpoint driver version that works with a 32bit operating system This just seems really odd. My comp used to BSOD before i got my setpoint driver for my mouse and keyboard when I was on the internet
