HELP! All of my desktop video files have become NOTEPAD files!
Can somebody please help?
As I was cleaning off my desktop, I think I might have accidentally deleted a flash program. All of my zipped folders on my desktop that had video are now NOTEPAD folders. I've tried re-installing Adobe Flash, but all of my video folders are still notepad folders. What do I do to get my video files back?? Please Help - some of my videos are PLR videos that I just bought to re-sell as video tutorials on my website. I spent $75 a few days ago to buy them, and now they are NOTEPAD files. Thanks for any help. Bob Last edited by Bobsnetbiz : 07-19-2008 at 11:39 AM. |

Thanks but that's what I'm saying. The only option is Windows NOTEPAD(which when you open, has all this jibberish). And all of the icons on the desktop that contained video went from zip files (with video files like flash and wmv) to notepad file icons.

Re: HELP! All of my desktop video files have become NOTEPAD files!
Actually I'm finding now that EVERY zip file is a notepad file... even the NON-video files! And when I try to create a NEW zip file by right clicking on the desktop, the icon is a notepad file.
What's going on? Last edited by Bobsnetbiz : 07-19-2008 at 12:15 PM. |

when you ight click open with, there should be a line that says choose default program. Use that and browse to the folder you want and click on the .exe of that program.
or you can go to your control panel and click on default programs and choose them there.
