Windows Vista GADGETS

Ever since i installed IE8 i realised the gadgets on my sidebar were larger than normal and no longer 'fit' on the sidebar. This applies even when i take it out. This problem has not been resolved after a week and i am unable to perform a system restore. Is there a way to fix my gadgets so that they return to normal. Anyone also know how to uninstall the IE8 beta update its really annoying.

Please help

thanks i got it uninstalled. everything is back to normal now, except my flash problem, which i made a post already somewhere else
