Can't Play MP3s

I just started using uTorrent and I seem to have trouble with the "MP3" files. I either can't play them at all, with any player, and with WMP I get:

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."

Or some of them I can play for perhaps a minute and then nothing. The other strange thing is that the files are much larger than a typical MP3, around 11mb.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Are they actually normal MP3s or do I need additional software?

Re: Can't Play MP3s

Maybe if you buy the CD's you'll have better luck playing them.

Please review the Tech Support Forum Rules & Conduct, and you'll see we provide no support for P2P applications here at TSF. That covers illegal downloads from such services as well.
