Second audio?
I have my HP Pavilion Media Center m9340f, my set-top box and my HD-DVD player connected to my HDTV with HDM1 cables, with digital optical running from the TV to my stereo receiver. When I change the "source" -- from the desktop to the DVD to cable TV -- the audio changes with the video, which is great - no need to change inputs on the receiver. However, I would like to set up a separate audio line so that I can listen to music on the computer while watching TV or playing a DVD (on mute). I haven't been able to figure out how to do this. I've tried connecting RCA plugs from the back of the computer to one of the available inputs on the receiver; no luck. I've tried connecting digital coaxial from the PC to the receiver; again, no luck. Is there a way to set up a second, separate audio connection from the PC to the receiver, or does the HDMI/digital optical override everything?
