Two windows vista?

Ok here is my problem, when I first turn my computer on it goes to a black screen now saying there was an error and to press enter. After pressing enter its another black screen with three options. 1st Says windows vista that doesnt work just crashes.2nd says windows vista rollback. 3rd says windows vista again but it works fine and is my computer. So I guess this is more of an annoyance but how do I get rid of it. At first I thought i might have 2 partitions but I put in the disk, went to advanced options, and it only showed one partition so I am lost. Please help thanks again.

Re: Two windows vista?

Hi, put your vista dvd into the drive set the bios to boot from cd rom and agree to the language screen then go to repair option then startup repair, although you may not need to with the dvd in the drive vista is designed to detect startup problems and repair automatically.

Re: Two windows vista?

If Jenae solution dont work (I never tried Vista Autofix) do this

Easiest is to take all your data out
Fdisk the drive and make sure you only have one partition and delete everything else, even delete the main partition and create another one with maybe 1mb less space
then format the drive and install fresh.
