[SOLVED] windows keeps restarting

i was installing daemon tools and my computer shut down everytime i try to sign back onto my use profile it may show windows for a second or two but then it restarts again... ther is a flash of a blue screen that says something along the lines of... detected a problem and has to shut down to protect... that is about all i can get before it is gone...HELP!!!

i cant stay on long enogh to do the restore... :(

boot from the vista dvd and on the install screen,click on repair on the bottom left and you should find restore in the options available

i dont think i have a vista dvd...

i looke thru my pc info and i was right i do not have a windows xp cd or dvd... what now???
please tell me i have another option...

did they supply you with a system restore cd/dvd

no they didn't, i looked. all i got was a cd for the monitor.

thank you for your help, i contacted acer and they had me restore my entire computer... i lost everything but at least i have my computer back... i have only had this one for several months anyway so...thank you again for your help
