Hotmail help - please

This is my first post, so if I need a different forum, please advise.

Today, I discovered that I can't access my hotmail account.

My password doesn't work, nor does my answer to the secret question.

I can't access hotmail help/support, because you have to be logged in to do that, and I can't log in.

Please help me out here = I've had this account since hotmail started, and suddenly all my contacts aqnd previous emails are gone.

I'm really desperate !!

a couple of things to try, delete the files in your temporary internet folder. Also try another browser and see if you can access your hotmail account. finally, try disabling your firewall to see if you can access.

Unfortunately there is not much we can do for you on this. If you cannot access your hotmail account, you need to contact microsoft

Are you having issues connecting to any other services?

Does Hotmail give you and error code (Error 80048820 - Extended Error Code 80048412) or just that you cannot login due to incorrect password or username?

If it gives you an error code please post it here and i will start trouble shooting with you

Your account may have been comprimised, and your password changed. Your secret answer may have been changed aswell.

When you go through the password recovery process in Hotmail, it asks if you would like to reset your password via a second email address, had you previously configured a secondary email address??
