Ok, so here's the story:
Somehow, for no reason, a folder became corrupt. This was perfectly fine with me until one day, when I was doing a security scan of my computer. The scan stopped on a file, and I noticed that that file was in the corrupt folder. I realized that I needed to delete the corrupt folder to continue my scan. I then searched all over these tech support forums all over the internet, and every so-called "solution" failed. Here is a list of what I have tried: Move on Boot Unlocker Dr Delete Killbox Chkdsk (in command prompt) Moving to a USB Drive Making a new account on my computer and deleting the old one Taking Ownership So far, nothing seems to affect this folder, and I worry if nothing ever will. If I don't delete this folder, spyware and malware will most likely take over my computer. Please help. |
