OS: vista ultimate

i need help i upgraded to vista ultimate
i have a Toshiba laptop with vista because the drivers are vista only no xp to down grade to. i get this error message.
Steam.exe (main exception): Unable to write to the current Steam application folder. Please move Steam to a folder where you have write privileges. i have no clue to what that means i have tried installing it to C:\Program Files and this one C:\Program Files (x86). why are there two program file locations. thanks for your help nick. |
