and welcome to the Forum

We can help you better if you give us the detailsof your system.

Have you looked in Event Viewer for hints on what is causing WE to restart?

Smile Re: Windows

Thank you for your response. I have Windows Vista Home Premium w/SP1
I looked at the Event Viewer, but I am still not sure what to do.
Here are some screen shots (attachment) of what it shows. Sorry if it does not help, just not sure what to do.

Thanks

My System

Re: Windows

Hi. . .

Sorry, but not enough info present in the 4 screen shots.

Please gather the dozens of logs (this system has 57 - totaling >70mb, but 2.6mb zipped) and attach to your next post.

You will most likely have to make up 2 zip files, at the attachment size limit is 1.96mb/file. You are allowed 5 attachments per post. I will gladly look through them this week.

First, though, please note the date and time of the "crash" of Windows Explorer so that I can easily find those entries in the logs.

Regards. . .

Re: Windows

Also, please run msinfo32 -

START type msinfo32.exe into the start search box and hit enter. Then save as an NFO file - very important. Zip it up and attach as well.

Thanks...
