Windows Update Error

I'm getting this error when I try to update windows: Error 80070422. Any Help?!?!?!?!

Good to see you back at TSF.

HERE is one item to try. I know that this is an elementary item - but I also must ask if any other services are disabled on your system.

Another is to reboot and log into your admin account - but NOT the hidden-admin account (assuming you have activated it).

That is actually one of the first things I tried and it keeps disabling on me. I think it may be some type of infection because not only am I having this issue, but I'm constantly getting virus infection warnings with recommendations to download software, and all of a sudden my laptop is slower than heck.
