Boot from dvd

Hi,

I just put together a new pc. Running on a770m mobo, 9750 phenom , 2gb ram, pioneer 18x dvdrw and wd hd 400gb.

I have set my bios to boot from my dvd drive and hd. since everything is empty, i need to install my os from bootable disc in my dvd rom.
HD and dvd rom is detected. I reach a screen where it prompt me to insert the bootable drive and press any key. I did what it said but when i press they key, nothing is happening. is just keep blinking on blank screen with a cursor line. i have tested the vista cd on another computer and it is working. it worked on a pc with installed os. I have find dead on to install this os on my new pc. by the way, it is a downloaded iso image file which i have burn into bootable dvd.
