windows vista crashes... help please...
i just bought a new computer with wndows vista OS... well i loaded world of warcraft onto the computer and the game plays for about 5 min then crashes completely and the computer completely frezzes up. u have to turn the computer off from the button on the front. any help would be greatly appreciated...
computer specs are: AMD athalon 64 x 2 dual core processor 6000+ 3072 MB memory 640 GB hard drive NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE graphics 56K modem thanks guys and as many people probably say i am kinda a newbie to computers so please forgive me if i ask alot of questions... |

Hi upononer6. . . Welcome to the Tech Support Forum - Vista Support! You may find a compatibility issue with Vista on this. I suggest that you check these areas for further information if you have not already done so yet: • The Event Viewer - START | type eventvwr into the Start Search box | right-click on eventvwr.exe that appears up top | select Run as Administrator | view the various logs starting with the Administrative logs. • Problem Reports and Solutions: START | type wercon.exe into the Start Search box | right-click on wercon.exe that appears up top | select Run as Administrator | view "See Problems to Check'. • Reliability and Performance Monitor: START | type perfmon into the Start Search box | right-click on perfmon that appears up top | select Run as Administrator | view both the Performance Monitor and the Reliability Monitor.
