strange browsing problem

guys,
i've got stuck with a problem. i've recently installed vista ultimate on my laptop.i also have a desktop having windows xp.now the problem is that some of the sites which open up in xp does not open in vista,especially sites having forum or music in it. i also unistalled my antivirus to c if it was blocking those sites but of no use. with the same network,same settings, i'm not able to open few sites in vista which is possible in xp.wat the problem could be??

Hi Krish.

Are your codec's all up to date on the Vista comp?

ya,my winows updates are on. that probably means that my codecs will be up to date. anyways,is there any method to check?

If you're using the Vista Codec's and have updates enabled, then they should be fine.

What browser are you using?
