Vista Destroyed Everything!!! :( :(

Hey people, this is what you should first know:

1)I have a 1gb ram,120 gb dual core 1.73 Ghz processor, HP Pavillion dv2000 laptop. It came with Windows Vista Home Premium.

2) A month back, I installed Windows Vista Extreme(The patched version of Vista Ultimate with SP1.) It was running fine and all.

3)Last night i was notified of low disk space in my C:/ drive. So i clicked on it to "free disk space" !

4)After analyzing, it showed that"per system error queued files were 107 gb!! ) I thought it was a joke, and i decided to delete all the files.

5)Then as i saw i really saw around 20 gb of free disk space!! I was amazed. But to my surprise it deleted many other files in C:/!!!
Movies...Gone! Music...Gone! But the agony didn`t stop here

6)When i reboot now , it shows :

FILE: \Boot\BCD

Status: oxcoooooof

Info: an error occured while attempting to reading boot configuration data.

7) Now! I am stuck in a different country altogether for next three months! And yes, i don`t have a recovery disk

8)Pressing F8 doesn`t work

9)I have a XP bootable but that fails to recognise my hard disk!!

Please help! What to do???? I am even prepared to work on DOS, but that harddisk has some information i need...
