Vista dial up issues
Hi,
I recently bought a Dell XPS 1530 laptop with Windows Vista Ultimate preloaded. The laptop does not come with a built in dial up modem which is often my only way onto the internet. I bought a smartlink external modem and installed the drivers, however the modem kept disconnecting me after just a few minutes. I suspected Vista until I tried the modem on someones Toshiba laptop with Vista Home Premium and it worked fine. Can someone please help me? I have no idea where to start trying to fix the problem. Thank you in advance. |
